DO NOT

Do not fall, I repeat once again

DO NOT FALL

I’ll be the end of you, an end that’s infinite

I’ll drag you to my hell;

Drift you away from happiness

And then bring you along to this wretched emptiness

DO NOT FOLLOW

From here you cannot escape

You’ll be drowned in the high tides of this ocean

You’ll be left isolated

Starved to death,

Your voice will not echo in my ear

I’m a captivating mirage of a bliss

An illusion; Too deceptive, too anxious to come near

DO NOT LISTEN

DO NOT TURN BACK

Even if you hear me calling your name

The voice that enchants you might be cursed

Might bring you down,

Might take your soul away

DO NOT SAY

Never say those words again

As these words that gives you meaning

Might turn out to be your tragic end

This story is too dark

Like two parallels trapped in a cage

Ripping the bars: losing their grace

I WARNED YOU

To never care, to never come in my embrace,

Yet you’re here

Petrified by my tempting eyes

Left abandoned and totally terrified

There are no colors of love here

Only red diluting itself in grey

WHAT ARE YOU HOPING FOR?

Here all your hopes are poured down in drain

There’s no end to this dawn

There’s no light at the end of the tunnel

And that’s our fallen fate

What’s beauty to the artist

Is catastrophe to the other

This love for you is vicious,

A sweet poison dipped in chaos

  1. Intense, a warning and a powerful summon at the same time, as vertigo and the fascination with the fall. What powerful lord of the ocean does this voice belong to? Thank you for this delicious and terrifying poem.

And yes, we all are powerful and strong just like the mighty ocean.
Metaphorically speaking, we all have some perplexed thoughts and complex feelings that remains loud yet silent just like the contradicting waves at the shore.
